We’re planning our first major themed event, digging deep into food growing and how it is impacted by the climate emergency.
The event, at West Lothian College on 24 June, will feature speakers from groups leading food growing across the region, as well as related projects in youth work, health improvement and tackling poverty and inequality.
Further speakers on the programme will come from the business and political arenas, to help us advocate the undisputed benefits of growing food locally. Workshops after lunch will provide the opportunity to learn more, and WLCAN Hub will show how we are connecting the region’s food growing network.
Book your place through Eventbrite and remember to advise of any dietary requirements for lunch.
