The Hub is the collective name for our staff and board, who work for the benefit of our network group members.

Jocelyn has worked in community development for 14 years, and has experience in food education and volunteer management. She works on Network member development.
Wendy has worked in sustainability for 21 years, mainly in community-led environmental organisations, and with local groups. She supports WLCAN members and strengthens partnerships.
Caroline worked in journalism for many years and then in charity communications. She is developing the Hub’s profile and publicising the network and members’ work.
Ruth is a Community Councillor for East Calder, a trustee for Yoga Scotland and secretary for the River Almond Action Group. Her career includes disability and adult learning services.
Donald is a Community Councillor for Bathgate, Treasurer of the Joint Forum of Community Councils, and also serves as a Board member for the Bathgate Meadows Nature Park Project.
Pippa worked in IT Support, and is a Community Councillor for Uphall, Secretary of the Joint Forum of Community Councils, and a long standing member of the Edinburgh Airport Noise Advisory Board.
Graham is former director of the faculty of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment at West Lothian College, where he project managed the Eco House build.
Diane was an Elected Member of West Lothian Council from 2012 until retirement, serving on various committees including the Environment and Sustainability PDSP committee.
Harry Cartmill has been one of Bathgate’s Elected Members since 2012. He worked at the House of Commons and was the national chairperson for the UK Coalition against Poverty.
