Net Zero training
In partnership with the Verdancy Group, assisting organisations in their journey toward achieving net zero. TVG is an education and skills provider of accredited learning materials, resources and qualifications.
Bespoke
Training on climate action tailored for your group or community. Our equipment can be used to demonstrate solar power, energy–saving devices for businesses and homes, water conservation and e-travel. We can also help your members learn about carbon footprint and food production. Our bespoke training can be tailored for all ages.
Cyclability
In partnership with West Lothian Bike Library we want to work with organisations who can lead cycling activity in their neighbourhoods. Local cyclists will act as ride leaders who will scout for the best routes and make a risk assessment. The host organisation will promote in their area. The Bike Library can provide cycles and e-bike and helmets upon request when booked.
Cycle Maintenance Classes
Half-day session where participants learn to service their own bike and how to do basic repairs. This can take place at the Bike Library or at a venue in your community.
Fresk Training
We can deliver workshops with Climate Fresk. This is a collaborative workshop designed to teach the fundamentals of climate change and empower you to take action. The name Fresk is from fresco as the participants work together to arrange 42 specially designed cards in a fresco which explains the causes and effects of climate change. Sessions last three hours and can be for 6-20 participants.
Junior Fresk – as above but with materials aimed at younger participants.
