Air.
Project themes: promoting a switch to energy generation to solar and wind in businesses and homes, reducing waste, circular economy for re-use and repairing household items, active travel with e-bikes and switching to electric cars.
Our Air category encompasses initiatives focused on reducing air pollution and promoting sustainable transportation. Within this category, we have four subcategories: EV Transport and Active Travel, Repair Reuse and Tool Libraries, and Wind and Renewables. By investing in sustainable transportation and reducing air pollution, we aim to create a healthier and more sustainable future for our communities and the planet.
Our EV Transport and Active Travel initiatives focus on promoting the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and reducing reliance on fossil fuels. We support projects that install EV charging stations in public and private locations, make EVs more affordable for consumers, and advocate for policies that support EV adoption. Promoting walking, cycling, and other forms of active transportation. We support projects that create safe and accessible infrastructure for active transportation, such as bike lanes, and cycle and walking paths.
Our Repair, Reuse and Tool Libraries initiatives aim to reduce waste and promote sustainable consumption. We support projects that provide repair services for a variety of items, such as electronics, appliances, and clothing, and educate the public about the benefits of repairing and reusing items and that provide access through tool libraries to tools and equipment for people who may not otherwise have them.
Our Wind and Renewables initiatives aim to promote the development and use of renewable energy sources, such as wind. We support projects that install wind turbines and advocate for policies that support the transition to renewable energy.
