ECO DEVELOPMENT FUND.

The WLCAN ECO Development Fund supports grassroots groups in a wide variety of projects spanning food growing, energy efficiency measures, environmental training and conservation.

Support for the climate hubs from the Scottish Government has allowed for three rounds of funding through WLCAN.

The Hub’s financial allocation for 2024/25 included money for the second and third rounds of Eco Fund. In February 2025 WLCAN announced 14 projects had been successful in bidding for £13,000 to carry out climate action work.
