projects.

We support groups whose work addresses the climate emergency. Projects stretch far and wide across West Lothian.

Examples include: community gardens and food growing programmes, encouraging active travel such as access to e-bikes, promoting the retrofit of homes with energy saving measures, saving water, clearing litter, increasing biodiversity, restoring natural environments, reducing waste, re-use enterprises, repairing household items, nature education work, volunteering and climate training programmes.

Ways we can support this work include offering grants, or signposting to other funding sources. We can also provide climate training and workshops. Read about work we’ve helped to progress on our individual projects pages.
