WLCAN group and individual members are invited to a special screening of People’s Emergency Briefing, a documentary film aimed at increasing public awareness of climate change, and highlighting the need for urgent action. 

Our screening will take place on Monday 28 September, at 2pm until 4pm, at Buchan Park Bowling Club, 60 Greendykes Road, Broxburn, EH52 5BS. 

We’re hosting the screening for our members, so that we can come together as a group and watch the briefing, before having a discussion around hosting a screening in your local community.

Seeing it for yourself will give you a chance to understand the documentary, and then hear about what’s involved in hosting a screening. You’ll also hear about the support available to you, and hear from other members about the conversations it could open up. 

To help make screenings in your local community happen, WLCAN has a limited number of £60 grants available to member groups to support the costs of hosting a People’s Emergency Briefing screening. You’ll hear more about this at the screening.
