Community Celebration Event

Walk to School Week culminates in a community celebration event in Blaeberry Hill Park on the afternoon of Friday 22nd May. The event is part of Our Future Whitburn, a year-long programme of community events focused on active travel, climate action and healthy living, and we’d love your pupils and families to come along.

Programme:

• Children’s Fun Run along Junior Parkrun route 1.30-1.45pm
• West Lothian Bike Library rides including e-bikes
• Rangers Service with Scottish outdoor code games
• Council Biodiversity Department with insect survey
• Woodland Trust Scotland – woodland themed games
• Cycling UK – stall
• Xcite – stall
• Scottish Fire and Rescue –  stall and freebies
• Walk to School Week trophy presentation!
