This film provides a valuable and timely opportunity to discuss the important matter of the climate and nature crisis within our own local community, especially given the current media coverage of the wildfires in Britain and Europe that have devastated nature, wildlife, homes and livelihoods. The film is hosted by Chris Packham and presents the findings of experts on various aspects of the climate emergency that the public know very little about. The film is an attempt to address this knowledge gap, provide expert, evidence-based information on the matter, and create an opportunity for discussion of what the climate emergency means for us here in Scotland, and what can be done about it.

The Area Commander of the West Lothian Fire Service will be attending the screening, as will a local councillor. The film will be presented by Mike Harrower from Greenpeace, Edinburgh and he will lead an informal discussion after the screening.
